An interesting disc[o]very

[Smokepaw]

Maybe it was simply curiosity. Maybe she just wanted to prove those who doubted her wrong. Who knew her reasons? Heck, she didn't even know her own reasons.
Smoke had heard stories of groups of cats living together in a group. She didn't know if it was true, so she wanted to see. Little did she know, she was wandering straight into DuskClan territory. Her head was held high though her paws trembled slightly. She heard the rustle of footsteps and dove for the nearest thicket of brambles.

[Silverstar]

Silverstar wondered in the territory, smelling Twoleg scent. She crouched down and hid in the brambles. Then only saw a Kittypet. Oveously a kit or maybe a rouge now. Silverstar stepped out of the brambles. "What is a Kittypet doing in Duskclan territory?!" Silverstar demanded.

[Smokepaw]

"I am not a kittypet!" Smoke screeched, jumping out of her hiding spot. Her temper cooled a bit and she sized up the other she-cat. "I heard rumors about groups of cats called 'Clans' and I wanted to see if they were real." She continued nonchalantly. "They apparently are." She flicked her curled back ears. "The name's Smoke."

[Rivermist]

Rivermist was walking a ways behind Silverstar as she heard voices. Rivermist walked up to them and let out a low growl to Smoke. (One of my name's on VWW. LOL.)

[Silverstar]

"That is no reason to be here!" Silverstar hissed. Curling her lips. She was glad Rivermist was here now. Surly they could chase away this intruder.

[Smokepaw]

Slightly frightened, Smoke chuckled to herself and murmured, "I guess this is one of those times when 'curiosity killed the cat' implies. Literally." Regaining her usual cool, yet arrogant stature, she spoke. "Do I look like much of a threat to you? I was only curious. Maybe those stories the other rogue tell about clan cats are true..."

[Waterclaw]

Waterclaw had heard a few screeches nearby where she was hunting. She saw Rivermist and Silverstar with a loner or a kittypet. "Silverstar! Rivermist! Who is that? Is that a clan cat or a loner?" Waterclaw asked trying to get a better look at the cat. When she realized she had seen this cat before. She saw it was Smoke a cat her father was friends with.

[Smokepaw]

Smoke realized that she was completely outnumbered. "Well this is a fine mess I've gotten myself in." She spoke in mock terror. She looked to Waterclaw. "I can speak for myself. And I'm a rogue. Former kittypet. Couldn't stand it though. My father promised he would take me from there, but he chickened out. So I went on by myself." She flicked her odd ears and scowled, irked by the memory.

[Silverstar]

"Waterclaw, you know this intruder." Silverstar meowed. She didn't growl at Waterclaw, her past was as a rouge, so Silverstar understood why Waterclaw knew this cat. Silverstar was also a past rouge.

[Waterclaw]

"Okay." Waterclaw said to who seemed like Smoke. Waterclaw turned towards Rivermist and Silverstar. "What should we do?" Waterclaw said quietly to her leader. She may be deputy, but she didn't know what to do this time.

[Silverstar]

"Welll Waterclaw, you can take this cat to the clan or chase Smoke out of our Territory? You chose, I know you are faithful." Silverstar meowed. She smiled at Waterclaw. She was so faithful to her, but Silverstar always watches to make sure her clan was safe.

[Waterclaw]

"I think we should take the cat back. She may come again and maybe even hunt in our territory." Waterclaw said to her leader. She couldn't believe how much her leader trusted her.

[Smokepaw]

Smoke's right ear twitched with impatience and she flicked her tail. She was getting annoyed and bored. Smoke prepared to leave. "Well it's been nice seeing you, but I'm afraid it's time for the cat to leave." She smiled her cheshire smile and prepared to take off.

[Waterclaw]

"Your not going anywhere!" Waterclaw yelled landing on top of Smoke. Waterclaw was a larger cat and was probably much stronger than this cat, Smoke would not be going anywhere for now.

[Rivermist]

Rivermist stood nearby as she trotted off to the brambles. This is where she waited.

[Smokepaw]

Smoke gave a defeated sigh but didn't keep from snapping, "You could've just asked." Her lip curled back in the trace of a snarl and a roll of the eyes. "Why is it so terribly vital that I don't leave? Hmm? You afraid I'm a threat?"

[Stormpaw]

"He could protect us" mewed storm paw.then he realized this was the leaders decision"sorry" he mewed to his mother.

[Smokepaw]

Smoke scowled at him. "I am a girl!" She said. She did not making any comment to the protection comment though she doubted it.

[Waterclaw]

"Stormpaw, go to Rivermist." Waterclaw said to the apprentice. This was not his fight. "Smoke, you are not a threat, but we can't have any one else hunting on our grounds and obviously you don't look very full. " Waterclaw said to the rouge.

[Smokepaw]

Smoke sighed. "Why are you still on top of me?" She asked. "I won't run. I promise."
