Owlflight ran across the territory. His tall, muscular legs pushed off the ground silently. His body cut through the black of the night like a blade. He had made it to the stream that ran through their territory in less than a few minutes. He lapped up a drink of water and absorbed the silence of the night. As he listened to the nothing, he heard something. He heard the croaking of frogs, the hoot of an owl and... footsteps. Someone was following him.
"I know you are there. There is no use in hiding." His smooth, cool voice held a hint of aggression. If it was one of his enemies, they would pay.

Owlflight relaxed. Only the medicine cat. "It's no problem." he said. Then a thought struck him. His blue eyes flashed. "A bit late to be tending on the herbs isn't it?"
It was almost halfway through the night. Owlflight was up though. But he was up too. What difference did it make? Owlflight did have trouble sleeping. He just didn't need it. He seemed to get his energy from somewhere else.

"Yeah... It's so calm out here, so quiet." Owlflight said, his voice barely a whisper. He looked up to the stars. I bet Blueflower is up there, is she proud of me? He felt an emotion build up inside him at the thought of his deceased mentor.
