"Cats Of Duskclan today we gather to make this Kit an apprentice. Seedkit from now on you will be known as Seedpaw. Your mentor will be Spottednose. He is ready for an apprentice." Silverstar annouced. She knew that Spottednose would be a great mentor.

I Gladly Abandon The Bloom of My Youth
I Follow my Truth My eyes lit up in excitement. Finally an apprentice! Then, my heart pinched. Mother and Father are watching me, right?
I asked myself. I had predicted Spottednose would be my mentor. He is the newest warrior and obviously ready
for an apprentice. He would teach me well. I hoped he would. I dipped my head to Silverstar, "I will become a great warrior."
I whispered to her, "For my parents." She would understand why I would say this. |

Silverstar smiled. She had a different reason to be a great warrior. In the hope of finding her father. When she had the skills, but her life here changed her. She remember when her mentor became an elder and she decided to train an apprentice first. That is when she became deputy. That changed her life and she decided now she had to stay. Her life was great.

Posiekit watched from the nursery entrance and stifled a yawn. She didn't mean to be rude, she was still happy for the new apprentice but she didn't really know him...at all. Licking her paw and drawing it over her ear she walked back inside the nursery.
