Owlflight was in fact, not searching. He was stretched out, in the sun. His fur soaked up the sun, relaxing his muscles. His mind was not relaxed. His gears churned at a million miles per hour. He thought of the future and the present, but not the past. The Bengal tom knew he couldn't forget the past, but he kept his mind from wandering in it. He wanted to know if he would ever be leader, if he would ever find love, if he would ever have kits and a mate... The blue-eyed tom licked his paw in a comforting way. Specklepelt sat in the entrance of the nursery watching Owlflight with her head cocked to the side. She blinked a couple of times and waited for him to move and/or say something.

"Hello Specklepelt." The tom said with a soft smile. He blinked his dazzling blue eyes and ran his tongue over his paw again. Owlflight still seemed distant, like his voice wasn't really focoused on her.

Specklepelt stood up and padded over to him. "Hello Owlflight". She too licked her paw "what's on your mind?" She sat down and curled her speckled tail around her bulging-with-kits body. Specklepelt blinked her yellow eyes and squinted "the sun is bright" she thought.

Bluefall heard two cats talking it was a Queen and the Deputy. She had some feelings for the Deputy but she wasn't allowed to love."Hello." She walked over to Specklepelt and Owlflight.
