Specklepelt entered the den just as Sandfur and Bluefall were leaving, and carrying...Firekit? She wondered what was wrong with Firekit since her kits had just opened their eyes. She padded over to Dustypelt and asked "What's wrong with Firekit?" concern was to be heard all over her voice.

"Well Firekit has been coughing, and we want to make sure that Firekit doesn't have white cough or green cough. We already have one case of green cough, and we just want to be sure." Sandfur said in a hushed voice that only Specklepelt could hear.

Breezekit watched in terror as they took Firekit. She had always been afraid of Medicine Cats and she didn't really know why. Breezekit sat down on her moss bed and watched them with huge eyes.
