Quartzkit stretched her legs and stumbled over something. She scented and realized she was in the camp. It seemed practically empty. She scented a few cats, but ones she hadn't bothered to memorize.

Bladekit watched with some emotions that he couldn't tell what they were. He sat down and wrapped his tail neatly around his paws and sighed. He felt bad for the kit and could imagine what Bluefall was feeling. He thought of his own family, his father that was dead, his mother who was acting distant or so it seemed, and his two sisters who haven't been around the nursery for a while. Probably out playing he thought. He was also thrilled that Specklepelt's litter had two toms that are now walking.

Ivykit walked around camp wishing there was something to do. She saw a couple of kits and Bluefall. She walked up to them, "Hi Bluefall and Bladekit. I'm Ivykit, who are you?" she said first turning to her brother and one of the medicine cats then to the other kit.

Bladekit watched with a distant stare. He was happy that the new kit was meeting everyone but he couldn't help wondering what the terrifying feeling of opening your eyes and to see the empty feeling of black was like. He broke his stare and turned his head from side to side looking for Rosekit. He padded up to Ivykit "have you seen Rosekit?" he asked.

Rainkit padded out of the nursery-it was his first day out! He stumbled a little but after a few steps he was steady on his paws.He walked over to some other kits and two bigger cats-one bigger than the other. Rainkit stared wide-eyed "H-Hello my name is Rainkit." he meowed.This was his chance to make friends.

Quartzkit Quartzkit blinked as another new voice came into hearing range."Hello Rainkit. I'm Quartzkit." She wondered why Rainkit seemed so familiar. His mother is Frostleaf! she realized. Frostleaf was her foster mother. Her glassy blue eyes darted around in the blackness. She still couldn't get over the fact that she would never know what her friends, her family, or her clan looked like. |

Stonekit bounded forward and slid to a hault before he could run into Bluefall. Backing up slightly with a confused look he stared at Quartzkit. "I haven't seen you around before" Stonekit said while pondering who she could be.
