(100 word minimum) Lilystar woke up in her den. Her blue eyes focused on the entrance to her tree den, which was covered by vines. The sun wasn't out do it was almost pitch black out. It seemed that it was time to train her new apprentice. She frowned at the thought of kits growing into apprentices, which hers never had. She got up and padded out into the branch that was infront of her entrance. She gazed over the cats that were walking around.
Lilystar kept to the ground with ease and walked over to where her apprentice would obviously be sleeping. Lazy apprentices. She looked at the bush that was hollow on the inside that she knew to be the apprentice den. She sighed and opened her mouth in a call for the apprentice that he was now training.
"Maplepaw! Get your lazy butt out here!" Lilytail yowled into the bush's entrance.

Maplepaw ran out of the den and smiled. Her surprise was how Lilystar called her to come. Maplepaw's head rushed with thoughts of training. She wondered what she would be learning first. Maplepaw quickly cleaned her fur. She use to be a young kit, but now was an apprentice. Being the only apprentice in the den, wasn't so great. It was boring and often made her yawn. The bright side was that she could get a good nights sleep for a long time. She waited to follow Lilystar out of camp and into the surrounding territory that was fillled with mystery.

Lilystar knew that the apprentice was waiting for her to go out of the camp and start the training, but she didn't. The black and white leader just sat there watching the oragy colored apprentice. It was a test of sorts, to see who the apprentice was on the inside. Lilystar could have just as easily told the younger cat not to do anything stupid and then just pad away into teh territory to train the future warrior, but what fun is that?
Lilystarjust sat there silently watching the ginger bat, waiting for an impatient sigh, or a word of boredom that was sure to come from the young cat.

Maplepaw waited, her mind filled with thoughts. Is this a lesson? Maybe she wants to just talk about a patrol? She might want to just wait. I will just wait, there is no point in moving. Wait, but she said we were going to train today? Maybe training had to be canceled right now. "How are you today Lilystar?" Maplepaw meowed. It was all she was to say for now. She didn't want to ask too many questions and get an annoyed look, not at this moment. When they are in the forest, surely when Maplepaw had to ask a question she would ask that question.
