Lilock jumped over her fence. It was night and time for her to leave. Her owners had abused her for too long. She ran soon deep in the forest. She then started to tear off her collar. It snapped off instantly. "I am not a cat who hangs with Housefolk." Lilock meowed.

Hearing soft thumps of a running cat on the ground she pricked her ears. Sitting up she looked over at the bottom of the fence near the barn she lived in and saw a she-cat about the same age as her.

Lilock dug a hole to bury the collar. After that she decided to try and hunt. She needed to lern if she was to survive out here. She crouched down when she found a mouse and prounced on it. She then began to eat her prize.

Creeping forward through the tall weeds even though her pelt was a pale ginger-cream color she watched her. She could tell that she was a kittypet...or a former one because of the scent that clung to her fur.

(Sure) Sophie ducked below the bush so she see the she-cats paws. Creeping forward untill she was in the bush she lowered herself onto her haunches. Closing her eyes she tilted the slightest bit to the side and ended up rolling out the bush covered in thorns.

Lilock heard the niose and turn. "Who is there?" Lilock meowed. fear rised in her pelt. She wasn't a good fighter. Only good at hunting really.

"Me" she meowed, smirking slightly at the thought of the she-cat trying to figure out who "me" was she added "Sophie". Standing up tall and stepping forward she looked over the she-cat.

Shadow crept through the forest. The only part of his pelt showing from the shadows, was the golden base coat. His eyes gleamed as he kept forward, gaze locked straight ahead on a small gray mouse. Food hadn't been to good the past few days, but he was getting on. He didn't need to feed anyone else, as he used to. Though he still longed for his past families. He still wished as every night fell, that he hadn't run away into the shadows. But he couldn't have taken care of three kits himself, could he? The first time, Sunshine was taken by Two-legs. His first mate. He never saw her again. But he had lived her. So much. She might have escaped, maybe not. He had left his kits then, Lily, Cloud, and Shade. Then he met Leaf. They had kits, Bracken, Flame, and River. She had to much on her mind and ran away, forcing Shadow into sadness again, making him leave.
Shadow shook off the memories, concentrating on the mouse one more. He got ready to pounce when voices and from up ahead. The mouse stopped, put its nose to the air, twitching it's nose. Then it seemed alarmed and raced off into the forest. "Fox-dung." he spat. Shadow stayed low, and crept forward, toward the voices. The handsome Tom stepped into the clearing noiselessly and spotted the source of voices almost instantly. He sat down in the middle, tail curled around paws, waiting for the she-cats to speak.
