Owlstar decided to keep the apprentices safe, they would be training indoors. It would be battle training, good practice for close quarters fighting. He poked his head into the apprentice's den. Small strands of sunlight showed the shillouetes of three sleeping bodies. "Bladepaw! Breezepaw! Stonepaw! Wake up apprentices!" He pulled back out of the nursery after there rude awakening. Owlstar had been up for a while now. With the threat of foxes just outside the camp entrance, he stayed alert. Someone had to. He snuck over to the nursery. "Dustypelt?" He called. "Sorry I didn't tell you before but we are having a training session with all the apprentices today." Owlstar said. He didn't wait for an answer but in stead stalked to the center of the camp.

Trudging bleary-eyed out the apprentices she mumbled "isn't it a little early?"

Looking at Breezepaw with shock he thought how could she be tired? and not excited? strutting forward into the sunlight he gave himself a quick wash and followed Owlstar.

"Due to the fox...problem, we'll be training inside today. It doesn't give us much space, but this will be a good way to practice close quarters fighting." The Bengal tom said. He blinked at the two. "We'll get started now and when Dustypelt and Stonepaw decide to join us, they can work on it too." He stood up in a graceful manner. He led the two as far away from the fresh-kill pile and the dens as possible. "Now, when fighting in a close space, you want to make sure you don't get backed into a wall. That will give the enemy the advantage." He got down in a crouched position. He nodded at Breezepaw and Bladepaw. "Try and get me cornered against the wall."

Nodding slightly she crouched down with her back arched. Hissing at Owlstar she started to move forward.

Bounding over from the apprentice den yawning he meowed "sorry, I just woke up and then I saw the others missing so I came here". Sitting down onto his haunches he watched his sister, Breezepaw, pratice cornering and looked at Bladepaw.

Owlstar gave a nod to show he heard but focused on the young apprentice. The blue-eyed leader waited for the apprentice to make a move.

Copying Breezepaw he crept forward on the other side of Breezepaw to make sure he wouldn't escape them.

Hissing one more time she lept onto Owlstar's back and steadied herself while hoping that if Owlstar would make a run for it Bladepaw and Stonepaw would block him.

Stepping in front of Owlstar, he stood the tallest he could just in case he would try to jump over him, but that would be really hard with Breezepaw on top of him. It looked weird seeing an apprentice on top of Owlstar.

Owlstar eyed the apprentices. When Breezepaw leaped onto his back, he lifted his front legs and hoped the apprentice would slide off but not get hurt. Bladepaw was in his way from pinning the apprentices against the wall. In truth, the StreamClan leader could jump over the cats, but that would be too easy for him and hard for the apprentices. They needed to get the hang of overwhelming someone with numbers and size.

Eyes widening as he leaped up she clung on with her claws as she began to slide off. [Lazy]

Dustypelt soon came. She was every so busy that she almost forgot. She walked over. "Sorry I was late, it got busy in the Nursery." Dustypelt sighed. She didn't like being late to anything at all.
