"DuskClan, gather by the Big Rock for a Clan meeting." Silverstar meowed. She waited for cats to gather .
"Our warriors and Deputy have found out that there are wolves on our territory, but DuskClan is small, so until we grow we will be having extra border patrols and Day and Night Guards. Warriors with apprentice, are recomended that if they are doing any training to stay close and have another warrior with you. We are not letting a wolf claim the life of a DuskClanner." Silverstar meowed. She stopped to see what there Clan was to say.

Lionpaw felt a shiver of excitement run down his spine as his Leader’s words washed over him. This was it. His body thrummed with pent up energy. He shuffled from paw to paw; suddenly the ground seemed too hot to sit on. The moment he’d been waiting for. His heart pounded in raw excitement and the hairs on his neck rose in eagerness. With this opportunity he’d finally be able to prove himself worthy of his father’s legacy.
The young apprentice rose quickly to his paws, his muscles tensed and ready to go. “Let me help.” He begged of his Leader, he wanted to put all his training into to use, to show that it wasn’t a wasted effort on her part.

"I am sure you will Lionpaw. I will be doing you assesment soon. Then you will become a warrior. For now try to stick close to warriors and to camp." Silverstar avised. She didn't want Lionpaw getting hurt before then. He would have to wait and they needed strong warriors.

Waterclaw stood near the big rock watching her leader. Silverstar had made the right choice to have Lionpaw made warrior soon. Silverstar had used her suggestion, which was good. But the wolves weren't going to wait, so hopefully Silverstar would take him out today for his assessment today or tomorrow.
Waterclaw kept looking at her leader when she realized she was digging her claws in to the ground. The silver tabby quickly took her claws out.

"Waterclaw, is Smokepaw almost done training?" Silverstar asked. She hoped so, they needed warriors if they were to get rid of the wolves on there territory.

"I believe so. I think she is ready to take her assessment soon." Waterclaw said. She almost forgot that Smokepaw was becoming a fine apprentice and could be a warrior. Waterclaw answered and looked for Smokepaw.

"That is good to hear. Any other apprentices? We need a good patrol. Smokepaw and Lionpaw will go, but we need a few more. Rivermist, is Posiepaw almost finished?" Silverstar meowed. They also needed guards, they needed to run the wolves out soon, but until they have more warriors it would have to be one by one.

His ears twitched at his Leader’s words, the young apprentice’s whole body was thrumming with excitement. It was almost upon him. Soon he would be a Warrior that everybody could respect.
Lionpaw felt his fur rise slightly, his pride smarted by what Silverstar had said, he could handle himself against a few wolves; he wasn’t some weak little kit.
So absorbed was he in thinking about all the different ways he could triumph against the wolves that his mentor’s words almost passed him by without notice, like a spider who had unknowingly cast his net a pawlength too short.
“It’s too dangerous.” The young tom snapped, not caring that his words were directed to his Leader, Posiepaw was his precious sister and he wouldn’t allow Silverstar to let her become a Warrior when the situation was so dangerous.

"Lionpaw! You should show respect." Silverstar scolded her apprentice. She didn't want to, but Lionpaw shouldn't act like that. "I can't let our Clan be attacked so easily. Everything will be fine." Silverstar assured everyone.

Waterclaw looked at Lionpaw and smiled. She remembered when she was so loyal to her littermate. Never mind that. She turned to Lionpaw and started whispering into his ear. "Don't worry about your sister. Even if she was to become a warrior and go fight, we would never let the wolves hurt her. You will be there and so will the rest of us.
Waterclaw turned away not wanting to hear Lionpaw's reply to her. "Silverstar! When we have made at least 3 warriors, I think we should plan an attack on the wolves. Though we won't have as much warriors as we could, we could still attack with more and lively new warriors. What do you think?" Waterclaw asked (at the meeting or after the meeting.) Waterclaw stood completely still while her leader thought about it. Waterclaw straightened her back and looked down at a puddle. Maybe her leader thought this was a bad idea. Maybe she shouldn't have brought this up. Slowly she let her head fall.

"For now we will have to take a slow approach. Since we only have for warrior is Rivermist, Spottednose, you and me. I think three would be a good amount. Two can stay here along with the queens to guard camp." Silverstar meowed. the whole Clan had to know the plan. It made it more simple.

"Okay." Waterclaw said to her leader. If anyone who should stay in camp would be her. Yes she would miss a great battle, but the queens, elders, kits needed someone to protect.“If we were to leave 2 warriors behind, I think it should be me and Rivermist or Spottednose. You and the others should fight the wolves. It would be smart to let you, being a wonderful leader and excited warriors who will have more drive of the thought they will be having a first battle." A small white and silver she kit flicked her ears. 'What are wolves? They sound dangorous.' Moonkit thought starting to tremble in fear and her blind eyes narrowing. She staggered out of the nursery. "What are wolves?!" She mewled loudly, still trembling.

"Hello Moonkit. Wolves are big animals that are very dangerous. You want to stay away from them because they could hurt you and we wouldn't want that. If you hear their short breath and hear their long legs thundering against the ground, you would want to run away." Waterclaw said to the confused blind kit.
