Redkit crouched down , his tail sticking awkwardly in to he air. A cool fall breeze wafted gently onto his brown pelt but he ignored it. A tentative paw stepped gingerly forward. Slowly...
He jumped back.

The claw-leangth bug had moved. Angry now, he slashed at it with his claws, separating it into neat pieces. Disgusted, he kicked some dirt on it, his ruffled fur slowly lying flat.

"Thats pathetic. You couldn't defeat a leaf like that! I'm way better."
Sneered a kit from the shadows. She emerged. She was a pretty, and slender ginger tabby with striking amber eyes. Her expression was enough to tell she was not friendly.
"Lemme show you how it's done." She quickly spotted a another bug. She pounced on it and claws it up messily.
"See? Thats how you kill buggies."
She mewed, clearly proud of herself.
"My name's Marigoldkit. You should know it cuz you'll be bowing down to me soon!"
